Today saw a reveal of not only a glorious 10 minutes of new Death Stranding 2: On the Beach footage, not only the game’s June 26th release date and not only a big, fancy Collector’s Edition but also a full-on global concert tour celebrating the music of both games.
The Death Stranding “Strands of Harmony” tour will take attendees on a musical journey through iconic tracks from the game, from composer Ludvig Forssell, as well as Low Roar and more, backed by synchronised scenes from the games.
It’s destined to stop at 19 venues across the world, with just one show in Australia, at none other than the iconic Sydney Opera House – which also happens to be the very first stop on the tour and on November 8th, the sixth-year anniversary of the release of the original Death Stranding.
The Sydney show will be lead by conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, performed by the Metropolitan Orchestra and feature Paolo Andrea di Pietro and Nan Sathida as vocalists. Seats will cost between $86 and $174 depending on location, and the show is set to run for around two hours.
Tickets for the Death Stranding Strands of Harmony tour are set to go on sale on March 12th at 10:00AM AEDT, and you can find out more at the official page here and the Sydney Opera House ticketing page for the event here.
