Premier gaming audio company EPOS has relaunched the GTW 270 Hybrid Gaming Earbuds, now with mic connectivity for gaming.
Originally hitting the market in 2021, the relaunched GTW 270 earbuds allow users to connect to a PS5, PS4 or PC via the USB-C dongle and fully utilise the chat function with in-built dual microphones. This sees a positive change from the original version of the earbuds that could only make use of the mic when taking a phone call via Bluetooth.
The GTW 270 Hybrid is a closed acoustic earbud that offers low-latency audio via the USB-C dongle, with an impressive five-hour battery life per earbud, extended to 20 hours with the charging case. Seeing as though they support a Bluetooth connection, the GTW 270s are also compatible with the Nintendo Switch, so you can game on the go as well.
The first iteration of the GTW 270 garnered a great deal of critical praise for their design and audio quality, with many outlets finding the lack of mic support to be one of the few downsides, so the new version further builds on a strong foundation.
The EPOS GTW 270 Gaming Earbuds will set you back $229 and can be purchased from the EPOS store.
