The Gungrave G.O.R.E Cinematic Gameplay Trailer Has All 12 Of Us Gungrave Fans Excited

Bullets. Beauty. Badass. Also, Baffling

Gungrave is a series that lives rent free in my heart. It feels like a property that only I seem to know about – I have never met another person who had played the games.

Initially I even shared the origin story of my discovery of the series in our Most Anticipated Games Of 2022 article, where I divulged how the game actually grew on me like a rash.

But I need to pinch myself, because the nu-gen sequel is not a dream – oh lawd, it’s coming:

Where to even start? The trailer is completely nuts – which honestly perfectly encapsulates a game about an undead gunslinger with a rocket launcher in his coffin. My favourite part is that I absolutely cannot glean an impression of whether the game will even be good. The breakneck pace of this ‘gameplay’ trailer, the rapid cuts of gun-kata combat – I have very little idea what to expect, and I am loving it.

This title has single-handedly justified my purchase of a PS5, as the wheel of my youth completes a full revolution and sits me right back down on the edge of my bed, PS2 controller in hand, desperately trying to figure out what the hell is going on in hit games, Gungrave and Gungrave: Overdose.
