Developer Naughty Dog has announced that the PC release of The Last of Us Part I has been delayed and will launch on March 28.
In a statement posted to Twitter, the three-week delay is attributed to final tweaks and fixes to ensure that the port is in the best shape possible. “These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards.”
The statement also acknowledges the outpouring of love that the HBO series has received, so having the PC port in the best shape possible is vital for those who are playing the game for the first time.

In our review of the PS5 version, we said, “While the original will always have its place in the hearts of many players, The Last of Us Part I is the definitive way to experience the beginning of Joel and Ellie’s journey, even if the price is a little steep.” We gave The Last of Us Part I a 9.
