The Lords Of The Fallen Is Now Just Lords Of The Fallen, Not To Be Confused With The Original Lords Of The Fallen

Lord The has fallen

The upcoming Soulslike RPG, The Lords of the Fallen, has been renamed Lords of the Fallen.

Dropping the ‘The’ from its title, Lords of the Fallen now shares the exact same name as the 2014 original title. As spotted by PC Gamer, the stealthy change was made as a technical showcase trailer debuted at GDC. The change to the game’s name is now reflected on its Steam page, as well as the game’s own website.

Outside of the game going into search engine hell, Lords of the Fallen (2023) is shaping up to be a very solid action RPG. The new trailer confirms that the new title is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, moving away from the dev team’s proprietary engine that was used for the original. Using Lumen lighting technology, high-resolution textures, and some development wizardry, Lords of the Fallen’s gothic aesthetic is looking pretty impressive.
