The Opening Cinematic For Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Is Here And Ready To Hit You In The Nostalgia

CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA!!!

Bandai Namco have been slowly drip feeding us lil tidbits from their upcoming open world RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, from character footage to information on the different mini-games you will be able to enjoy. But one of their recent posts about the game was definitely designed to sucker punch you right in the morning cartoon nostalgia.

The cinematic acts similar to the opening of the anime giving us a taste of what to expect from Goku and friends, all set to the amazing track “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” by Hironobu Kageyama, which was the first opening for the Japanese broadcast of Dragon Ball Z. Shots like the “Z” wiping over the one-star dragon ball to the Z-Fighters standing together with Goku turning Super Saiyan have been perfectly recreated really putting the icing on top of this trip-down-memory-lane cake.
