The System Shock Remake Gets A May Release Date

Re-live the classic this May

Prime Matter has announced that the System Shock remake from Nightdive Studios will finally release on PC on May 31 (May 30 global launch).

A full-blown remake of the 1994 fan favourite, System Shock brings the title into the modern generation thanks to HD visuals, updated controls, new music and a revamped interface. Nightdive has more treats in store for players with improved gameplay, including a new dismemberment system, making for a more visceral experience.

The team at Nightdive was hoping to launch the game in March, but admit that they need a couple more months to get the title ready for players. No release date for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One was provided, but Prime Matter does insist that it will release at some point.
