Talk about pulling a fast one.
A Pokémon-themed Nintendo Direct is beginning tomorrow at 1am AEDT (converted from 6am PT). The presentation will feature ‘roughly 7 minutes of new information’, which is probably going to be the new core game that was first teased at last year’s E3. It’s slated for release in 2019, and Nintendo’s recent strategy of leaving very little time between info about a product and its release doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
Whatever the new announcement is, it’ll kick off the eighth generation of Pokémon. The seventh generation began with the series’ Sun and Moon versions, and concluded with the release of Let’s Go! Eevee and Let’s Go! Pikachu last November. Tomorrow, we’ll know what this new generation looks like. You can watch the Direct below:
