Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines released all the way back in 2004. The popular vampire RPG is still fondly remembered and played to this day, but up until recently the IP has remained dormant, much to the chagrin of the series’ fans. Luckily a sequel is on the way that is set to drop next year and details surrounding it are beginning to pop up.
The most recent details to arise are in relation to one of the games numerous vampire factions that hold power in the game’s take on Seattle. This particular faction are know as The Pioneers. One of the first vampire factions to seize control in Seattle, The Pioneers remember a ‘better city’ and strive to return Seattle to how things used to be. Loyal to each other and incredibly wealthy, they are no longer as vital and relevant in the city as they once were. The leader of this Faction, Lou Grand, is the longest reigning prince in the area and has managed to collect vampires from different clans under the ideal that Seattle can be reverted back into its ‘former glory’.
Definitely has vampire HQ written all over it
As Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will focus heavily on choice, it is great to be getting an idea of what groups will be found in the game this far in advance. Did you miss the gameplay trailer from earlier in the year? No stress, I’ll make sure you are up to date, give it a watch here.
