Venture To The Vile Is An Upcoming Metroidvania From Former GTA, Bioshock And Far Cry Devs

Coming in 2024

Cut to Bits, a new studio founded by former developers of series you may have heard of before, such as Grand Theft AutoAssassin’s CreedBioshock and Far Cry has announced its debut Venture to the Vile, a sidescrolling Metroidvania set to hit Steam and consoles in 2024.

Billed as a narrative and exploration-driven adventure, players will find themselves searching for their best friend in a town that has been taken over by the Vile – a mysterious and monstrous entity that is transforming everything it touches into something unrecognisable.

Throughout your journey, you’ll meet peculiar and memorable characters, as well as uncover the truth about the Vile and be given the chance to absorb the Vile – a choice that will give more power but at what cost?

From the game’s trailer, Venture to the Vile has a unique and striking Victorian-inspired art style and features some neat looking platforming and puzzle-solving mechanics. It’s certainly one to keep an eye on as development continues.
