We Finally Have Our First Proper Look At The Fallout TV Series

Someone cracked the vault open

A new article from Vanity Fair has given us our first good look at the upcoming Fallout TV series that’s set to premiere on April 12, 2024.

This rather extensive deep dive into the upcoming TV show set in the Fallout series provides us with a synopsis, casting information and some pretty solid glimpses of costumes and sets. The series protagonist, played by Ella Purnell, is Lucy MacLachlan, the daughter of her vault’s overseer, Kyle. An undisclosed event forces Lucy to leave the safety of the vault, entering the dangerous wasteland populated by all manner of threats seen throughout the game series.

The article references the well-known Brotherhood of Steel faction and set photos even give us a good look at the iconic Power Armour that’s often associated with the group. Atop this, we get an eyeful of Walter Goggins as The Ghoul, missing nose and all. The article is a long one, filled with tidbits and hints at what we can expect from the show, such as Vault Boy’s inclusion is more than an easter egg, as we’re promised that “the imagery even gets an origin story (which we won’t spoil here).”

Of course, we’re all here to see what the show will look like, so here are a few snippets from the article:

Power Armour, Ghouls, Vault Tech jumpsuits, it’s all there, but will the show be any good? Let us know your thoughts and predictions in the comments or on our social media.

Shoutouts to Vanity Fair.
