Capcom has announced that Thea Trinidad, better known as WWE’s Zelina Vega, will be a real-time colour commentator in Street Fighter 6.
The announcement was made during yesterday’s Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, as Vega made her way to the ring as entrant number 21 in gear inspired by the Street Fighter character Juri Han.
Trinidad will be lending her voice to the upcoming fighting game, as she commentates live over matches, providing some excellent character and enthusiasm to the brawl. For those who aren’t aware, Trindad is a wrestler and manager within WWE, as Zelina Vega, and is also an avid gamer and fan of pop culture. While she didn’t come away with the win, her Juri cosplay was on point at the Rumble this year, but that wasn’t her first homage to Street Fighter. In the 2019 Royal Rumble, Vega entered at number 19 as, well, Vega from Street Fighter.

Street Fighter 6 will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on June 2.
