Alright, strap in, you’re about to watch the dumbest yet most amazing thing that you’ll see this week. Xbox just released a music video, yes a music video, to promote their Xbox All Access service. So far, so weird, but it gets so much better when you learn that it’s performed by the ’90s R&B group All-4-One.
Better still, the song is titled It’s All There, a remix of the band’s song I Swear. Seriously, I can’t make this shit up. The video itself is your classic ’90s affair, with plenty of hazy, angelic lighting giving the whole thing a romantic feel. Lyrically it’s a masterpiece, of course, exploring the benefits of the service, all while harmonising, naturally.
For those unaware of what Xbox All Access actually is, it’s a service provided by Telstra in Australia, in which you pay monthly to gain access to an Xbox Series X (AU$46/per month) or S (AU$33/per month) as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It’s very similar to a phone plan in the sense that you’ll own the unit at the end of the 24-month contract.
Stop reading my description and just give it a watch, you won’t regret it (I don’t think):
What do you think of this kind of marketing? Did you enjoy the music video? Let us know.
