Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Will Feature Full Cross-Play And Split-Screen Co-Op

Fantasy fun for everyone

Gearbox Software has announced that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will have full cross-play between all consoles, as well as a split-screen co-op option.

Using SHiFT Matchmaking, players from across all platforms, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, will be able to party up and play through Wonderlands in co-op. When first booting up the game, you’ll be asked to set a cross-play display name that will allow you to be identified by your friends and invited to sessions. While playing in co-op, you’ll have access to two options that will alter how enemy scaling and loot distribution is handled.

Additionally, Wonderlands will also feature local split-screen co-op on consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will allow for up to four-player sessions, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions supporting two-player co-op. Regardless of your platform, you’ll be able to choose between a horizontal or vertical split depending on your preference.

For those looking to play Wonderlands on PC, the minimum and recommended specs have been revealed:

Lastly, as a cheeky added bonus, Gearbox announced that Borderlands 3 will also be receiving the same cross-play feature at a later date.

Will you be playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands using cross-play? Will you be playing it with a mate on the couch? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
