Developer 11 bit studios has announced that its upcoming survival game The Alters will be released on June 13 across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Following a delay that saw it slip out of 2024, 11 bit studios has locked in a solid release date for its clone-centred survival game. Playing as Jan Dolski, you find yourself stranded on a volatile alien planet that’s just begging to be explored. The only issue is that Jan is alone, and just one person can’t pilot the wheel-shaped base he inhabits. Luckily, Jan can clone himself in an unconventional sense, bringing alternate versions of himself into his reality to lend a hand.
The narrative framework for The Alters is an interesting one, and the gameplay looks to match it. When you and your many Jans aren’t managing the ship, you’ll be exploring the planet from a third-person perspective, looking for a way out of your predicament.

The Alters will be available across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will also be available to download as part of an Xbox Game PAss subscription, which is a great get for those who use the service.
