PlayStation has announced that a PlayStation State of Play showcase will take place on Friday, February 13, at 9am AEDT.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, this State of Play will run for over an hour, making it one of the girthier showcases that the Blue Brand has run in a while. The annoucements confirms that third-party and indie games will be shown alongside updates and reveals from PlayStation Studios. “February’s State of Play will spotlight eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.”
While we don’t have any more concrete info, it’s safe to assume we’ll see a bit of Marathon, since it’s set to release in early March, and we might even get a glimpse of Marvel’s Wolverine, if we’re lucky. Regardless, the best part of all this is that the showcase is scheduled for a very reasonable morning coffee hour of 9am AEDT. So, unlike Nintendo’s recent Direct, we Aussies can go about our day without setting insultingly early alarms.
