Ubisoft has announced two Ubisoft Forward presentations that will take place this year. The first will be a Skull and Bones showcase that will take place on July 8 at 4am AEST, with the second being a multi-game showcase scheduled for September 11 at 8pm AEST.
This will be our first look at the long-dormant Skull and Bones since E3 2018, with the Ubisoft Blog post promising “an in-depth look at the upcoming open-world multiplayer pirate game inspired by the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy.” There was a fairly substantial leak that saw gameplay for Skull and Bones pop up on the internet back in April, but this will be the first official peek at the game in a long while.
In lead up to the showcase, Ubisoft has released a short teaser trailer, hinting at what’s to come. You can watch it here:
Additionally, Ubisoft announced that their next Ubisoft Forward that’s scheduled for September 11 will feature “updates and news on multiple games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world.” While this doesn’t;t give us much to go on, Ubisoft did say that the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be revealed in September, so we could potentially see something from that IP pop up here.
Are you still excited for Skull and Bones? What do you hope to see during the September Forward? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
