A Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie Tease Shows Us The Ultimate Lifeform’s Feet

The third Sonic movie just got a little …edgier

Social media has delivered a gift to the Sonic community on this day, with a random reminder that not only is a third Sonic the Hedgehog film underway – but that its new big star is already on set and performing.

Cast a glance over the oppressive presence of the one and only Shadow the Hedgehog – or at least, his lower half.

The Arthur-style clenched fists are of course a great touch, being that this is the physical stand-in for filming – the ‘edge-hog will of course be replaced with CGI during post production.

This leaves a fairly enormous question still to be answered – who will be lending their pipes to Sonic’s rival? Shadow the Hedgehog has a distinct voice that perfectly encapsulates his being, an audible example of what a character named SHADOW might sound like. The internet of course is begging for it to be Keanu Reeves, and rightly so – but there is still time for Chris Pratt to swoop in and collect another CGI animated icon for his Infinity Gauntlet of odd roles.

Still plenty of time for such a reveal to occur however, because the third Sonic movie is not due to premiere until December 20 in 2024, which is literally 12 months away. It’s anyone’s game at this point.

Who do you want to see voice Shadow? Are you a fan of his dope kicks? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
