AEW: Games and THQ Nordic have announced a new free-to-play battle royale mode that’s coming to AEW: Fight Forever.
Stadium Stampede, named after the chaotic real-world match type, will be a 30-player mode that sees players race around a huge stadium, wielding weapons and driving golf carts in an attempt to eliminate all other players and become the sole winner.
The new game mode is “coming soon” and will be introduced in a free update. A trailer for the wild new mode has dropped alongside the announcement, showing off the carnage that we can expect. From Hangman Page mowing people down on horseback to Yuka Sakazaki sprinting around with a Molotov cocktail, this new content looks to be as arcadey and crazy as the rest of the game.
30 wrestlers enter the stadium. Only one can reign supreme.

In our review, we said that “Harkening back to the good old days of arcade wrestling games, Fight Forever is an accessibly fun and awesomely faithful title that’s sure to entertain from bell to bell, despite its numerous shortcomings.@ We gave AEW: Fight Forever a 7.5.
