Asemblance, the single-player, episodic psychological thriller from Nilo Studios will make its long-awaited debut on Xbox One on January 30 (Jan 29 in the US) the developer has revealed.
The first episode, which saw releases for PC and PS4 back in June 2016 (July 2016 for European and Australian players) is currently only available for pre-order on the US ($7.99) and UK (£6.39)Xbox Live stores. We’re hoping it’s added to the Australian store in the coming days. It’s currently $14.95 on the Australian PSN store, so expect a similar price.
Asemblance featured some challenging puzzles that required the game’s community to work together in order to solve/achieve the elusive ‘White Ending’.
I reviewed the game back when it was released on PS4 and found it to be a thoughtful and challenging, yet repetitive and frustrating experience that was worth its cheap price. You can read the full review here.
Furthermore, I interviewed the Nilo Studios team not long after Episode 1’s release to find out more about the game and its development. You can read that interview here.
Eric from Nilo Studios did give me a bite-sized update on Episode 2’s progress informing me that they are heads down on the episode’s development and are making good progress but still have a lot of work to do. Our fingers are crossed for a 2018 release.
In the meantime, Xbox owners can view the game’s launch trailer below:
(Sorry for using a PS4 trailer, that’s the only official trailer I could find).
