Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gets Cinematic Trailer, Coming To Current And Next Gen

I liked what I Thor!

In an announcement that isn’t terribly surprising but is still very, very exciting – Ubisoft officially lifted the lid on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla yesterday via a very cool live art stream from Melbourne’s own BossLogic.

Fast forward to today, and we also have our first actual look at the game’s setting thanks to the very slick Cinematic World Premiere Trailer:

Vikings? Check. Bloody, brutal battles? Check. Hidden blade? Check!

There’s not a hell of a lot else to take away from the trailer that couldn’t already be inferred from the announcement of the title and setting, but it’s still pretty cool. Interestingly, though the trailer calls out a Holiday 2020 release for current and next-gen platforms, it only mentions Xbox One and Xbox Series X. No doubt nothing more than a marketing deal with Microsoft, as the game is definitely coming to all platforms (apart from Switch, sorry).

What do you think? Hyped for the game already or holding out for something more substantial than cinematics?
