Battlefield Studios has announced that Battlefield 6’s first season of content is being extended until the beginning of Season Two on February 17.
While we were all busy grinding out the forgotten weekly challenges that we hadn’t finished, trying to finish off the Season One battle pass, Battlefield Studios announced that Season One will be continuing on for an extra few weeks. The battle pass will stay live until the beginning of Season Two on February 17, letting players smash through the remaining unlocks before moving to the new wave of content. In addition, a new bonus path, named Frostfire, will kick off on January 27, giving players the chance to unlock a new weapon package, soldier skin, and XP boosts.
If you find yourself together with your significant other on Valentine’s Day, pining for each other and some hot Battlefield action, you can jump in for daily login rewards and some double XP weekends at the beginning of February.
We don’t know what Season Two will bring yet, but I’m sure there are plenty of folks wiping sweat from their brow, knowing that they have some extra time to make the most of their battle pass purchase. We did, however, get a sneaky teaser that coincided with this extension, showing a soldier in a gas mask emerge from a haze of green smoke. It tells us nothing, but it certainly looks cool.
