As part of a plethora of Overwatch 2 content being teased, announced and dropped today – we also get the Sojourn animated short “Calling”.
The cinematic gives us a look at Vivian Chase’ everyday life, with her adorable dog Murphy and the occasional croissant – before it is interrupted by a figure from her past. You see, being a vigilante can be somewhat troubling for local law enforcement; even if you are saving their life.

The animation is absolutely stellar, and further cements my ongoing catchphrase of “Blizzard’s Art Team Does Not Miss”. It all wraps up in a neat little tie-in to the upcoming Invasion content, with a rather convenient escalation interrupting an awkward day for Sojourn.
The short is currently available to watch within the Overwatch 2 game client – so if you have it installed, give it a watch. If not, I assume the short will make it’s way to YouTube in due time; either via a Blizzard run channel or a creative fan ripping it out of the game.
