Activision has announced Call of Duty: Vanguard, the latest instalment in the long-running first-person shooter franchise. The announcement has come in the form of a short teaser trailer that pans across a number of battlefields, revealing faces of soldiers in the destruction.
The full reveal of Vanguard will take place within Call of Duty: Warzone at 3:30am AEST this Friday (20/8) alongside the introduction of a new weapon. From the teaser trailer, it seems obvious that Vanguard will be taking place during World War II, but we’ll have to wait until Friday for more info.

There’s no official release date for Vanguard, but it would be safe to assume that it’ll launch this year.
