Crash Bandicoot 4 Will Have In-Game Purchases According To The Microsoft Store

Could end up being a TNT crate situation

It’s about damn time. After a ratings leak here and screenshots leaking there, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was officially announced last week (June 23).

The trailer that dropped with this announcement has excited many while irking a few with its new character designs. The game looks to be combining what made the original Crash games great while adding in some new abilities and playable characters (hello Neo Cortex).

Another new addition to Crash 4 looks to be in-game purchases. The listing for the game on the Microsoft Store has a disclaimer next to the pre-order link that states that the game will offer in-app purchases. We don’t know what these purchases will be at this point, but it does make us a little nervous. Here’s hoping that it only goes as far as cosmetics.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launches on PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.

Are you excited for Crash 4? What do you think these purchases might include? Let us know.
