Dead Island 2 Sells More Than One Million Copies In Less Than A Week

Alive and selling

After almost 10 years in development Dead Island 2 is out. Yes, that’s correct, you can walk into your local games store or jump onto your preferred digital store and purchase the game. And it seems many people have, with Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios announcing that more than one million people have bought the title in just a few days.

It’s an impressive figure for a game that many people thought would never make it out of the development hell it found itself in. But three developers later, Dambuster Studios has done what others before it couldn’t do, and it has a good job of it.

I reviewed the title and scored it a 7, praising the fun and gory combat but citing repetition as something that can impact the enjoyment.
