Dead Island 2 Welcomes Us To Hell-A In New Gore Filled Gameplay Trailer

A sunbaked, zombie smashing playground

It feels like we have waited an age for Dead Island 2 – but today we can inch a little closer by checking out the new “Welcome to Hell-A” gameplay trailer.

It’s 4 gore-soaked minutes of gameplay, introducing you to perhaps the coolest character in the title; the setting of Los Angeles.

It should come as no surprise, but the trailer is intended for mature audiences – so you may find yourself needing to sign into YouTube to view it’s splattery goodness:

It is all sun, surf and savagery as you chop your way through the dozens of rotting denizens. The trailer brings special attention to just how gruesome your undead foes are – and your incredible arsenal of claws, katanas and hammers for dispatching them. There are guns too of course, but after the Wolverine claws I found it hard to find them exciting.

Dead Island 2 launches on April 28th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC
