Death Stranding 2 Announced At The Game Awards

Back to the beach

Kojima Productions has announced Death Stranding 2 with a gorgeous trailer at The Game Awards 2022.

The announcement was made via a gorgeous, atmospheric and incredibly confusing cinematic trailer that depicted Lea Seydoux’s character, Fragile, attempting to escape from a hostile force, clutching her BB. After a great deal of squid-based imagery, we also saw the return of Norman Reedus’ Sam Porter Bridges, now sporting some beautiful grey hair.

Hideo Kojima took to the stage following the trailer to talk more about that game, stating that the whole game was rewritten during the COVID pandemic. We don’t know much more about the sequel, but its existence is reason enough to celebrate.
