Diablo IV Has Dropped A Visceral Gameplay Launch Trailer

Billie Eilish is also on the track

With Diablo IV wrapping up its final beta period, the marketing machine is back to cranking out some hype builders.

Set to the oddly fitting tones of “You Should See Me In A Crown” by Billie Eilish, the trailer smashes through some choice gameplay examples from the games five playable classes – before highlighting some of the larger boss entities that await you.

The amount of confidence on display for this product is speaking volumes to how much passion is behind the product. Even the use of a popular artist for it’s backing track doesn’t stink of a desperate bid to try and elevate the product – more so that it just fits so damn well.

The dark and terrifying world of sanctuary looks buttery smooth in action, and the player fantasy on display within each clip paints a picture of badassery for all. Seriously, the sorceress freezing and then shattering the surrounding massive demons? Chefs kiss my friend, that just makes me WANT to do that all the more.

It’s a short wait now for the actual release of Diablo IV – June is right around the corner. Maybe I can watch this trailer on repeat to pass the time.
