EA Sports has officially unveiled the next chapter in its football/soccer series – EA Sports FC 24, which is set to hit PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on September 29.
EA Sports FC 24 marks the first release since EA chose not to renew the FIFA branding licence, and will see Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland grace the cover of the game. but don’t expect wholesale changes to the gameplay formula.
Once again gameplay is powered by HyperMotion, technology that will only be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game, which will help make matches feel as real as possible by utilising data from more than 180 professional players. One new feature is the inclusion of PlayStyles, which will see players with unique capabilities to make them feel more authentic.
In a series first, women and men will be able to take to the pitch at the same time, with Ulitmate Team users able to select men’s and women’s players to shape their teams.
Of course, an Ultimate Edition of the game is available to pre-order and will give players seven days early access on September 22, as well as other perks.
