After having its first in-person event since 2019 last year, EVO, arguably the biggest fighting game tournament in the world has today announced the games to be featured during its 2023 event.
Via a livestream on their Twitch, EVO announced eight titles that will be featured on the roster:
- Street Fighter 6 (making its EVO debut)
- Guilty Gear -Strive-
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Tekken 7
- King of Fighters XV
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (first appearance since 2017)
This year’s roster looks to not only showcase some of the last few years most popular titles but also bring back a hardcore, dedicated audience with titles like Melty Blood and Ultimate MvC3.
EVO 2023 will take place August 4-6 at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. If you’re interested in competing registrations are now open over on evo.gg.
