Fallout 76 Announced By Bethesda

From Fallout 4 to Fallout 76

After over a day of intense teasing, which included a day-long live stream involving a Vault Boy bobblehead standing in front of a television displaying the synonymous “Please Stand By” test card, Bethesda have announced Fallout 76 in a brief teaser trailer.

The game is being developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the team responsible for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, and is slated to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

While we don’t know much about what genre of game Fallout 76 is going to be, all signs are pointing to it being online in some capacity, with Kotaku news editor Jason Schreier indicating in a string of tweets that those expecting a single-player RPG “will be disappointed”.

Fallout 76 is certain to feature heavily in Bethesda’s E3 press conference on June 10th. In the meantime, you can watch the official teaser trailer below:
