Another hit coming out of Gamescom 2025, the first official trailer for the post-apocalyptic showground ride that is the Fallout TV show, we get a proper look at what to expect when season 2 drops in December of this year.
Full of familiar and frightening faces, we get a good look at the Las Vegas strip in both a before and after sense, as Walton Goggins’ Cooper Howard, aka the Ghoul, dips his shrivelled toes into a flashback storyline.
We see that things will continue developing for Lucy MacLean, as she chases down her deadbeat dad, Hank McLean, prior overseer of Vault 33, as he flees to New Vegas. Maximus is seemingly making new friends in the Brotherhood of Steel, Lucy’s little brother seems very keen on some bloodthirsty vengeance and finally – a Deathclaw makes an appearance.
It’s a teaser trailer, so really it’s entire purpose is to whet the appetite – and consider myself whetted, because I am very onboard with the unique brand of sun-bleached apocalyptic TV schlock that is being offered. Was the first season perfect? Not by a long shot – but the wildly charismatic smile and gaping nose-hole of Cooper Howard, Hollywood actor turned gunslinger and bounty hunter, keeps me coming back.
Not to mention, I was captured entirely the moment I heard “It’s All Over but the Crying” by The Ink Spots.
Ready yourself for polite robots and the incredible Mr House when Fallout Season 2 makes its way to Prime Video on December 17.
