Fear The Spotlight Is Getting A Physical Release Because Sometimes We Can Have Nice Things

Blumhouse Games’ first release is already lined up for a physical version

Fear the Spotlight, the breakout indie horror title from Cozy Game Pals and Blumhouse Games, is getting a physical release following the game’s success. Launched earlier this month to rave reviews and a swath of positive social media buzz, Fear the Spotlight will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on disc and cartridge respectively sometime in 2025.

iam8bit, a boutique company that offers premium physical editions for smaller, unique titles, is handling the release.

In our review of Fear the Spotlight we said “Fear the Spotlight masterfully captures the look and feel of a classic PS1 horror title while leveraging modern concepts and gameplay features to produce an atmospheric and nostalgic experience that every lover of horror should enjoy”, dropping a impressive 9/10 on the game.

Fear the Spotlight is one of many sick horror titles getting cool physical releases. Recently we saw Alan Wake 2 land a snazzy boxed version after fan’s of the series expressed their desire for it, while Capcom is preparing to drop Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes as well as Resident Evil 7 for the PS5 starting this december.
