Developer EYES OUT and publisher Blumhouse Games have revealed Sleep Awake, a psychedelic first-person horror game coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
Unveiled during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase with a fantastically frantic trailer, Sleep Awake is the debut game for LA-based studio EYES OUT. The team is co-founded by Corey Davis, the creative director of the deeply affecting Spec Ops: The Line, and Robin Finck, the guitarist from legendary industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails. The pair are working on Sleep Awake as co-creative directors alongside a small team of artists and video game development veterans.
Described as a “psychedelic horror set in the far future,” Sleep Awake takes place within the last known city on the planet, where people are disappearing into their sleep, with the remaining citizens relying on experimental means to stave off sleep. As Katja, players will navigate this treacherous world filled with death cults and twisted dreams, all while dealing with the repercussions of avoiding slumber.
