Hearthstone – Blizzard Announces 2018 Wild Open

Wet n wild

Blizzard have just announced the Hearthstone Wild Open will return in 2018!

From today through 18 February, 2018, competitors can register for their region’s open qualifiers, which take place from 23 – 26 Feb. and 1 – 4 March AEDT/NZDT.  Registration is open to all Hearthstone players. Qualifiers will consist of two 128-player Swiss brackets per region, per week.  For the full schedule and rules, visit the Hearthstone blog.

Step forward if you think you have what it takes to battle against the best of the Wild for your chance at the coveted title and lion’s share of the $25,000 USD prize pool.

The live finals will be held in Burbank, California on 31 March, 2018.

In the Hearthstone Wild Open 2017, it was Italy’s self-professed Wild specialist Albert ‘Alb987’ Reano who beat down goliath opponents like Canada’s Control. Alb987 came from nowhere to win the crown, and he gave us a Grand Final worth remembering.
