Here’s A Fresh Look At Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition And Its Digital Bonus Content

It’s looking X-cellent

As if 2025, especially early 2025, wasn’t already gearing up to be stacked with banger video games, it’s all-too easy to forget that one of the most underrated games to have graced Nintendo’s WiiU console is about to get its deserved time in the spotlight with Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition headed to the Switch on March 20th.

Rounding out the entire Xenoblade Chronicles catalogue on The Nintendo Handheld Hybrid That Could, this new iteration of the ambitious follow-up to the Wii original is bound for much the same treatment as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition with enhanced visuals and a healthy dose of brand new story content.

Thankfully, to remind us all that this epic adventure is on the way, Nintendo has dropped a three-and-a-half-minute new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition that gives us a new look at how its graphical and gameplay improvements are looking across cutscenes, exploration and combat. As many fans have pointed out, the UI in particular looks a far sight tidier and more usable than the original’s busy HUD and tiny text.

You can check it out below:

Alongside the new trailer, the game’s “early purchase” digital bonus goodies have been revealed, which will be available to anyone who picks up the game digitally or physically within the launch period, so before April 6th on the eShop or while physical stock containing the redemption code lasts. Here’s what’s in it:
