Here’s How To Claim Your Free PlayStation VR Camera Adaptor For PS5

Sony has long-promised that those who wish to continue using their PlayStation VR headsets when upgrading to PlayStation 5 would be able to claim a free adaptor for the PlayStation 4 Camera, which is still necessary to use the PSVR (the new camera won’t work, for whatever reason).

The company has finally now launched its solution for making that claim, and it’s a fairly straightforward process which we’ve outlined here:

Head to this link to the claim page
Confirm you’re not a robot (or lie if you are)
Fill in the required details, including the serial number from the back of your PSVR Processor Unit
Fill out your personal and postal details for receiving the adaptor
And wait!

Sony says the adaptors will be shipping around mid-November at this stage, so hopefully PSVR users around the world who switch to PS5 will be up and running again this year.
