I’ve said it before, but the fact there is a Redwall game makes me extremely happy. While Act I of The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout may have been a little rough around the edges (it has been updated significantly since I reviewed it), I was still excited to be experiencing a prominent part of my childhood in game form.
The game’s developer, Soma Games, had always planned for The Scout to be episodic, and finally after 18 months of waiting for the release of Act II, it is not far off, with The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Act II set to launch on January 6, 2021, on PC. Yesterday, the studio released a short teaser of gameplay footage, giving players a glimpse into what lies ahead for Liam and Sophia (wishlist here). You can find it in the tweet below:

Despite a childhood playing survival horrors, point and clicks and beat ’em ups, these days Zach tries to convince people that Homefront: The Revolution is a good game while pining for a sequel to The Order: 1886 and a live-action Treasure Planet film.
