Hogwarts Legacy’s release date could have been hinted at with the reporting of a new book, The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy, which currently is slated for a September 6 release. As this book is a tie-in to the upcoming game, it’s not unreasonable to think that Hogwarts Legacy could be releasing around the same time.
There has been radio silence in regards to Hogwarts Legacy, aside from the initial announcement in 2020 and the delays in 2021. Warner Bros. officially announced that Hogwarts Legacy would be releasing in 2022.

Although Warner Bros. has yet to announce an official release date for the game, the tie-in book is a sign of hope for fans. Hogwarts Legacy is a promising-looking AAA game set in the Harry Potter universe and will be coming out on PC, PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
