Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Avalanche Software have announced that Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed on PS4 and Xbox One and will now release on April 4, 2023. Additionally, it was announced that the Switch version will be releasing on June 25, 2023.
A short Tweet posted to the game’s official Twitter account revealed the pushed-back dates for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, with little to no explanation for the delay. While the Tweet directs those curious to their website’s FAQ section, there’s only a brief mention of the delay without further clarification.
This delay doesn’t include the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, which will still launch on February 10, 2023, as previously announced.
Hogwarts Legacy will launch on April 4, 2023 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on July 25, 2023 for Nintendo Switch. The team is looking forward to bringing you the game and we want to deliver the best possible game experience across all platforms.
