EA recently announced on X that the 25th anniversary livestream for The Sims, titled Behind The Sims, will commence on January 15 at 4am AEDT.
However, this is all the information EA has supplied us with, a date and a time. Due to their blog post late last year mentioning the livestream along with a lot of other information, we can expect some exciting things to be announced and discussed.

Project Rene and the live-action Sims movie are two of the hottest topics at the moment when The Sims is mentioned to fans, and we will likely see some news revolving around the two concepts. This is all thanks to the mention of them in their blog post last year. Information regarding the next packs to be released could also be part of the livestream, along with a 2025 roadmap. However, since nothing official has been announced from EA themselves about what we can expect to see, fans will have to wait until the livestream goes live to truly find out the exciting news, which luckily isn’t a long wait.
The Behind The Sims livestream will be watchable through YouTube on The Sims official channel. For Aussies, it will be an early show, beginning at 4am tomorrow. Unfortunately, we do not know how long the livestream will go for but Simmers can expect to sit down and discover the next big things coming to The Sims.
What are you hoping will be announced at Behind The Sims? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
