Hot Wheels Unleashed developer Milestone has announced that a Looney Tunes expansion will be hitting the game on July 14, 2022.
The expansion will give players access to a bunch of Looney Tunes-themed content, including five new vehicles, a Track Builder Module, items for the Basement and the Player’s Profile, and a new environment called the Looney Tunes Adventure Park where players can relive the adventures of the iconic cartoon series. The Adventure Park will have four areas, with one based on Wile E. Coyote’s desert.
The DLC can be purchased separately or as part of the Hot Wheels Pass Vol. 3, which is available from June 9 and includes nine vehicles, three Themed Customisation Packs and three Track Builder Modules.
In my review of Hot Wheels Unleashed, I said that “Hot Wheels Unleashed is a super fun yet sometimes frustrating arcade racer that is hindered slightly by some design shortcomings,” scoring it a 7.5. As a fan of Looney Tunes, Wile E. Coyote in particular I am keen to see what the new expansion brings.
