White Paper Games has announced its latest title I Am Ripper, an investigative thriller set in 1980s Britain coming to PC.
The year is 1988 and a small western British town is the victim of a serial killer who has taken several lives and is still on the loose. You’re a forensic investigator who has been called to help solve the case, and your choices will shape the outcome of the investigation.
According to the press release, I Am Ripper builds on everything White Paper Games has learnt about storytelling, gameplay and meaningful consequence in its previous games Ether One, The Occupation, and Dahlia View. White Paper Games says I Am Ripper is not a horror game, thriller game or detective game, instead, “it has all the key components of those genres to create something that feels rewarding, explorative of core themes and characters that feel real and grounded in their world.”
No release information has been shared, except that the game will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
