The release of the fantastic Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (Which we gave a 9.5) is barely in the rear-view mirror, but developer Insomniac Games are looking straight ahead to the future. A post on the studio’s Twitter account highlights a number of job listings for positions that would be working on a “multiplayer project”.
The positions advertised are a Creative Director, a Systems Designer, a Story Lead, an Art Director and a VFX Artist, which doesn’t allude to a whole lot, but, as Eurogamer pointed out, the application for the Systems Director position does state that a “thorough understanding of melee combat systems, enemy design and boss design” is preferred.

Nothing has been hinted at or confirmed by Insomniac, so we’re left to speculate (which we might take some time to do later), but it’s an exciting prospect all the same.
What would you like this multiplayer project to be? Did you enjoy Rift Apart? Let us know.
