It Takes Two’s Newest Trailer Is The Best Look At The Game Yet

If you don’t love me now…

It’s no secret that we at WellPlayed are all a bit keen for It Takes Two, the latest co-op only indie adventure from A Way Out developer Hazelight Studios. As we inch closer to the game’s March 26 release date, deeper looks at the game are beginning to emerge.

Our friends over at Press Start Australia were treated to a hands-on preview of the game as well as an (excellent) interview with the game’s, er, passionate director Josef Fares. Those are well worth a look, but I think it’s the new ‘We’re Better Together’ trailer that’s really pushed the hype levels to a peak.

You can check out the trailer below, which shows off a great deal of the different types of gameplay you and your co-op partner will encounter over the course of the game, as well as a good amount of setup for its (likely heartbreaking) story. It’s all set to Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’, which says a lot in itself. Take a look:

It Takes Two is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on March 26, 2021.
