July 2022’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe Catalogue Update Has Been Revealed

17 new games are on the way

We here in Australia have had access to the new PlayStation Plus tiers for a few weeks now, so it’s likely that most of us have scrolled through the game catalogue more than a few times over now. There are plenty of great games to get around if you’re an Extra/Deluxe member, in fact, I’ve written about all of the games we here at WellPlayed would highly recommend playing, but new content is always welcome.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the first update to the PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe catalogue will add 15 new games to the Extra service and two new classic titles to the Deluxe service. All of these games will be available from July 19.

Here are all of the games being added to the PlayStation Plus Catalogue in July 2022:

PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe

  • Stray (PS5, PS4)
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (PS5)
  • Marvel’s Avengers (PS5, PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed Unity (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection (PS4)
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4)
  • Saints Row Gat out of Hell (PS4)
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition (PS5, PS4)
  • Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure (PS4)
  • Jumanji The Video Game (PS4)
  • Paw Patrol on a Roll! (PS4)
  • ReadySet Heroes (PS4)

PlayStation Plus Deluxe Classic Games

  • No Heroes Allowed! (PSP)
  • LocoRoco Midnight Carnival (PSP)

Without a doubt, Stray is the standout of the bunch here, as it’s hitting the service on release and you get to play a cute ginger cat. Seeing a bunch of Assassin’s Creed titles being added to the mix is a win, same with Saints Row, but the other frontrunner is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for sure. Oh, and Marvel’s Avengers is in the mix too.
