Koch Media Unveils New Publishing Label Prime Matter And A Host Of New Games

Koch Media goes prime time

German outfit Koch Media has announced the latest addition to its roster of publishers – Prime Matter, joining Deep Silver, Milestone, Ravenscourt and Vertigo in the Koch Media household. So with four publishing labels already, why a fifth?

The company says that Prime Matter’s existence came about due to “ever-growing demands and opportunities across an even more diverse audience.”

Koch Media’s CEO Klemens Kundratitz says that “Prime Matter is a new home for premium games, offering both current and future partners all the expertise of the Koch Media Group alongside a new and dynamic team dedicated to maximising their true potential.”

We got to check out the label announcement presentation along with short dives into 12 games that will be gracing the label, some new and some existing. Let’s take a look below.

Payday 3

The first game announced that will be published by Prime Matter was the hotly anticipated PvE bank-robbing game Payday 3 coming from developer Starbreeze Studios. While we got next to nothing in the way of information about the game, other than the game will be coming to PC and consoles (hopefully) in 2023, we did get a cheeky piece of art, which you can see below.
