Lies of P Lands A September Release Date And New Demo

It’s a real game!

Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike Lies of P has secured a September 19th release date and a brand new demo, both announced at today’s Summer Game Fest. Geoff Keighley announced the news at his annual June gaming blowout, letting us know that the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one, alongside its release on PS5 and PC.

The news was accompanied by a very atmospheric new trailer for the game which sees our real boy hero roaming a dark fantasy world full of mechanical oddities, as well as the announcement of a demo for the game available right now.

Lies of P comes to us by way of Neowiz Games and Round 8 Studio and looks to be an interesting riff on Soulslike combat. The new trailer shows off a variety of combat options, including some sick new weapons (Umbrella!!), alongside some new character designs and a broader look at the fantasy aesthetic the world is playing with.

What do you think of Lies of P? Be sure to let us know in the comments below and on social media.
