PlayStation owners, it’s time to start training that grey matter and stocking up on your Class A drug of choice because Simogo and Annapurna Interactive are bringing arguably this year’s premier thinky video game to a PS5 or PS4 near you on December 3rd (or 4th for most of us ANZ folks).
The game, which our very own Mark Isaacson scored a ‘yuge 9.5/10 in his review, is a non-linear mystery that sees the titular Lorelei traipse around a weird-as-fuck mansion where just about everything in sight is either a puzzle or part of a solution to one. Previously only released on Switch and PC, its striking visuals and perplexing atmosphere are poised to stun once again in their PlayStation iteration. As Mark puts it, “David Lynch would be proud of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. It’s wild, clever and compelling in the best of ways, absurd in its visual style and challenging in its puzzles. Do not let this one pass you by.”
You can wishlist Lorelei and the Laser Eyes right now on the PlayStation Store, as well as check out a new accolades trailer (featuring a familiar outlet) below:
